Meet our warrior Soul Regis-Landers! Soul battles a rare congenital condition called premature laryngeal cleft and severe obstructive sleep apnea. Beginning at 2 months, he started having complications with decreased heart rate, airflow restriction, and a premature laryngeal cleft. After many failed sleep studies, therapy, different medications and methods attempted, his team of doctors decided it was time to discover what was going on. Two months ago, Soul had an explorative procedure to figure out what may be causing this apnea and they decided to remove his tonsils and adenoids at that time. Soul will require many more procedures sometime in the future.
