Child and Parents must be legal U.S. residents. Parents or Legal Guardians must agree to the terms and conditions by signing the Ruler of Hope, Inc. Grants, Assignment, Release and Waiver Form (that will be provided upon selection).

A physician’s letter validating illness will be required. Parents or Legal Guardians will be required to submit four pictures of the child, the diagnosis, and a descriptive story documenting their journey of how they are a hero to be shared online as a part of the fundraiser. The family's name, images, city and state will be listed. All other contact information will not be posted online. Any donations above $1000 will be given to the family, but not matched by Ruler of Hope, Inc. Hope’s Heroes fundraisers will not be in conjunction with any other concurrent, past or future fundraisers or group funding platforms. All donations must be submitted through Ruler of Hope Inc.’s Venmo or PayPal accounts. Ruler of Hope, Inc. will not accept cash, checks, or any other types of payments for this program. Any processing fees that PayPal or Venmo may deduct will also be deducted from the total given to the child. Donations received will be given to the family only through Venmo or PayPal. Checks, cash or any form of automatic transfer will not be considered. The fundraising time period will be set by Ruler of Hope, Inc. Any donation received outside of those dates and times will not be given to the designated child. Anyone can nominate a child, but the parent or legal guardian must agree and sign the Ruler of Hope Inc. Grants, Assignment, Release and Waiver Form and agree to the terms and conditions set at that time by Ruler of Hope, Inc. Multiple emails and submissions requesting a specific child will disqualify the child from being nominated as a Hope’s Hero. Individual donation amount, donor contact list, or contact information will not be distributed to anyone. If a donor fails to provide an email address in the comment section of either Venmo or PayPal, the donor will not receive a tax-deduction receipt. They may email Ruler of Hope, Inc. to request a letter validating tax-deductible donation. A submitted nomination does not guarantee the child will be nominated as a Hope’s Hero. Hope’s Heroes do not discriminate on race, gender, religion, or background.
